The Lady of Lacrimosa
This film, The Lady of Lacrimosa, came to life through my fascination with the complex beliefs of witches and their relationship with God. I discovered that while witches believe in both God and Christ, they refuse to live under His laws. This contradiction struck me as deeply captivating, inspiring a story that dives into the clash between faith, power, and the consequences of defying divine order.
In The Lady of Lacrimosa, the witch pays a price for wielding power—each act leaves her with an open, bleeding scar, symbolizing the unjust toll it takes on her body and soul. The concept of a witch grappling with the repercussions of her actions presents a nuanced exploration of power, faith, and the fragile boundaries between right and wrong.
What excites me most about this project is the opportunity to explore the psychology of characters who live in the margins of society, pushing them to confront the consequences of their choices in deeply emotional and unexpected ways. The blending of dark mysticism and moral dilemma brings depth and intrigue to the story.
Join me on this journey as The Lady of Lacrimosa and its sequel take shape—coming soon to captivate and haunt viewers long after the credits roll.
