THE HARMONY
A Cautionary Tale of Biblical Proportions
In a gripping, high-stakes story that weaves science, mythology, and global chaos, The Harmony explores what happens when humanity digs too deeply into the mysteries of the past. Set on the eve of 9/11 and at the height of Saddam Hussein's tyrannical rule, a group of Iraqi scientists make a world-shattering discovery: a petrified plant root they believe could be linked to the Tree of Life from biblical times.
To unlock the secrets of this ancient root, they bring in American dendrologist John Harmon, an expert on trees. Together, with a team of American scientists, they begin their research, only to realize they’re playing with fire. This isn’t just any root—it could be a remnant from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But which one is it? There were two trees in the Garden of Eden, one good and one evil, according to scripture.
A Discovery Gone Horribly Wrong
In a hidden underground lab, the scientists attempt to revive the root. After several failed attempts, it springs to life, growing at an incredible rate. But along with its growth, strange and unsettling events unfold. Scientists begin reliving both painful and joyful memories, seemingly triggered by the tree itself. However, one of the scientists—a clergyman—warns that they need to confirm which tree this is before continuing their experiments. His advice is ignored, until it becomes too late.
As they attempt to destroy the tree, the crew witnesses an eerie phenomenon—tiny particles resembling ash descend from the tree’s branches, only to transform into rapidly growing snakes. These serpents weave themselves into the tree, guarding it fiercely. The scientists have accidentally revived the Tree of Evil.
Global Chaos Unleashed: The Signal from the Tree
Suddenly, the ground above the lab quakes violently, followed by a deafening, thunderous sound. The monitors reveal the source—an audio signal emanating from the tree, traveling across continents at terrifying speed. What follows is full-scale global destruction, with mass murder and chaos erupting in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Music, Morality, and the Corruption of Free Will
One scientist recalls a childhood sermon in which a Roman priest spoke of Lucifer, once the choir director of Heaven, whose very body was a musical instrument. Now, as the fallen angel Samael, this being has corrupted his musical gift, turning it into an instrument of terror. Could this be the very power the tree has unleashed—a twisted harmony that manipulates morality and free will?
